Empower DC Says FUNK FENTY

Empower DC is a grassroots organization in DC whose mission is to enhance, improve and promote the self-advocacy of low and moderate income DC residents in order to bring about sustained improvements in their quality of life.

Given the current tumultuous political climate in DC, Empower is organizing an upcoming event that rally people together to protest initiatives by the current Mayor Adrian Fenty who is perceived by many long-time residents as DC as a betrayer of the people.
