Vote for the Cast of Running:AMOK for WAMA Fan Favorite

The Washington Area Music Awards (WAMMIES) have just added a new category for non-members and members to vote for. It's the FAN FAVORITE AWARD. This year, while the category of musical theater and cabaret was unceremoniously taken out of the running for the popular award show, this award allows the Liberated Muse production of Running: AMOK to get in the game if you nominate the cast today for the FAN FAVORITE AWARD.

About Liberated Muse Arts Group

Liberated Muse Arts Group is a collective of performers, writers, singers, actors and visual artists who gather to transform spaces into art places.

In 2008, the digital community LiberatedMuse.com was born, connecting creatives from around the globe to discuss, collaborate and fellowship. Hundreds have connected through the online portal, beginning meaningful relationships leading to further creative collaborations and ongoing partnerships. You can join the community for free if you are a creative literary, performing, or visual artist.

Liberated Muse Productions (2008-2010) produced the annual Capital Hip Hop Soul Fest held in Washington DC’s Marvin Gaye Park for three years and after the dissolution of Liberated Muse Productions, Liberated Muse Arts Group became the new name of the umbrella of services in 2011, producing events and theatrical productions throughout the Washington DC metro area.

The aim of Liberated Muse Arts Group is to continuously challenge the notion of an “arts space” by programming in spaces that are not traditionally considered popular art spaces while continuing to use traditional spaces as a balance. We wholeheartedly support artist-owned and community-based venues that connects arts programming to populations that typically don’t have access to professional, high-quality artistry.
