 The General Store Inc's Summer Swap Meet and Greet is this weekend, so mark your calendar to get your swap on!

The summer months tend to keep us all a little busy between beach getaways, family reunions, weddings, baby showers bbqs, etc. Swapping is great for all you frugalistas out there.

And of course swapping is a great way to reduce landwaste and promote recycling. And what better way to give your purse a vacay and meet new people!

Please bring AT LEAST 5 pieces of your gently used SUMMER clothing and accessories. That's it. Swap for as long and as much you like.

Artist Lady Pcoq will be the hostess for the afternoon. Cam Jus will supply swapping sounds. The General Store Inc's Official Summer Swap Mix II available for free while supplies last.

We will accept the following items: dresses, shorts, bottoms, denim, skirts, shoes, jewelry, short sleeve and tank tops, scarves, purses and hats.

ANY AND ALL LEFTOVER ITEMS WILL BE DONATED TO GOODWILL OF GREATER WASHINGTON.

Admission fee is only $7.

Liberated Muse Supports Upcoming Hip Hop Soul Event on April 23

There is immense talent in the Washington DC area and Liberated Muse Productions will supporting an upcoming concert featuring some of that talent in an upcoming concert featuring hip hop soul artists RatheMC, Amber Mimz and Ihsan Bilal.

While we aren't familiar with the work of Ihsan Bilal, RatheMC and Amber Mimz have been mentioned on this blog before for their show-stopping work that has gained attention not just in DC but all along our east coast. Both women have performed with other stellar indie artists as they make their names known as not only commendable performers but liberated muses definitely on their grind.
