Tonight Liberated Muse's Moon on SoulCityRadio.com w/DeWayne Alston

Liberated Muse co-founder Khadijah "Moon" Ali-Coleman will be on SoulCityRadio.com today, Wed, June 2 @ 8pm with singers (and Liberated Muse members) Teisha Marie, Anonamas, Quineice and Dionne to talk about the play Running: AMOK featuring the four singers. She will also talk about her work as a producer of the annual Capital Hip Hop Soul Fest.

SoulCityRadio.com promotes independent music across several genres up to but not limited to Soul, R & B, Jazz, Hip Hop and Inspirational. DeWayne Alston, a Baltimore native, is a poet, writer, and the founder and co-host of Soul City Radio.

Liberated Muse Productions (2008-2010) produced the annual Capital Hip Hop Soul Fest held in Washington DC’s Marvin Gaye Park for three years and after the dissolution of Liberated Muse Productions, Liberated Muse Arts Group became the new name of the umbrella of services in 2011, producing events and theatrical productions throughout the Washington DC metro area.

The aim of Liberated Muse Arts Group is to continuously challenge the notion of an “arts space” by programming in spaces that are not traditionally considered popular art spaces while continuing to use traditional spaces as a balance. We wholeheartedly support artist-owned and community-based venues that connects arts programming to populations that typically don’t have access to professional, high-quality artistry.
