Running: AMOK, a Liberated Muse Production, will run from Sunday, May 15 to Saturday, May 21 at three arts spaces-- Germano's in Baltimore, MD, The Corner Store in Washington DC and The Bonifant Theatre in Silver Spring, MD.

Liberated Muse Member of the Month: Katrina Ge
Born in Florida, , KatrinaGe is a multi-talented vocalist/ author/ and
songwriter living in South Carolina. She has traveled extensively across
the US and inspired many with her use of the arts and work as a
spiritual leader to bring people together. While living in Texas,she sang
with the gospel/jazz group PureGold, enjoying the opportunity to open
for the Jackson Southernaires, Mississippi Mass and many other high
profile gospel acts. Currently she is in the studio finishing her
nu-jazz/neo gospel debut CD (Touch the World) while building an arts

Support the arts and be part of the first DC Black Theatre Festival which features the play "Breakthrough" by Liberated Muse member Princess of Controversy .
Brace yourself as you embark on an incredible journey through Washington DC's first-ever Black Theatre Festival;
a week-long festival celebrating extraordinary stories told by people of African decent.
This inaugural event has an exciting menu of more than 60 provacative and ground breaking theatrical performances, by local and national artists, writers, producers, and the theatre companies, and is the first festival of it's kind to recognize the importance of both urban and traditional theatre.
Added to this magnificent line-up will be a week-long celebration of the Giants in Black Theatre, a series called "Intimate Conversations;
history told through the eyes of those who were there."
