Lip Service on Valentine's Day

Evolve Urban Arts Project presents Lip Service, a duo exhibit featuring all new works from artists Elva R. Lovoz and Prudence Bonds. This collection is centered on the aesthetic value and perception of the human mouth using only black-and-white with two primary colors. Drinks and a special food tasting will heighten the experience.

Liberated Muse Arts Group is a collective of performers, writers, singers, actors and visual artists who gather to transform spaces into art places.

In 2008, the digital community LiberatedMuse.com was born, connecting creatives from around the globe to discuss, collaborate and fellowship. Liberated Muse Productions (2008-2010) produced the annual Capital Hip Hop Soul Fest held in Washington DC’s Marvin Gaye Park for three years and after the dissolution of Liberated Muse Productions, Liberated Muse Arts Group became the new name of the umbrella of services in 2011, producing events and theatrical productions throughout the Washington DC metro area.

The aim of Liberated Muse Arts Group is to continuously challenge the notion of an “arts space” by programming in spaces that are not traditionally considered popular art spaces while continuing to use traditional spaces as a balance. We wholeheartedly support artist-owned and community-based venues that connects arts programming to populations that typically don’t have access to professional, high-quality artistry.
